If someone hits your car on the streets of California, it might not be so far-fetched to assume that the culprit responsible for the car accident is notorious celebrity Lindsay Lohan. In the past couple of years, the once seemingly squeaky clean teen star has been involved in various traffic incidents.
And surprise, surprise, earlier this week, Lohan caused a rear-end collision with another unsuspecting California victim. Fortunately, no one was injured in the car accident. Despite that good news, the question still remains: Should Lohan be able to keep a valid California driver's license?
The average driver will undoubtedly make a mistake at some point while behind the wheel, perhaps one like the most recent Lohan incident. She reportedly bumped the back of a stopped car. What isn't normal, however, is for one driver to so consistently be involved in traffic incidents.
Lohan, for instance, has a couple of DUIs on her complete driving record, as well as a hit-and-run and two other accidents just from this year alone. Her history as a bad driver is so well-known that even the producers of her current comeback attempt of playing Liz Taylor set some special rules. Lohan wasn't supposed to drive while in the process of working on the movie.
Based on the most recent accident report and another crash in June, Lohan didn't take that requirement very seriously. The concern is that if Lohan, or anyone for that matter, continues to exhibit irresponsible driving behaviors, then shouldn't the system take some action? Does it have to take a serious injury or death to get a bad driver off of the roads?
